Left frame still disappears

I'm still having intermittent problems with the disappearance of the left frame. The frame is there only while I'm on the General Forum (which is my bookmark). The frame disappears when I arrive at a different forum. I have to click "Back" on my browser to return to the General Forum, so that I can navigate to a third forum.

I'm beginning to feel like a mailman who insists on pulling in to every driveway on the street. He sure gets a lot of practice backing up.
